Man, injured in road mishap, shot dead

A farmer was shot dead by two unidentified men in Chak 153 GB on Wednesday. According to Sadar police’s FIR, complainant Saleem, brother of deceased Amin, said that Amin was injured in an accident and was asleep on the bed when two unidentified men came and shot him dead on the spot.
In Gujranwala, one died in road accident while 13 injured in three different blast incidents. Akbar Ali was going to city when a speeding car hit the motorcycle. As a result Akbar Ali was injured seriously. He was rushed to a hospital where he breathed his last. In Sadhoki, a labourer was busy in a factory when a boiler burst with a heavy noise. Resultantly, nine workers were injured. They were taken to a hospital from where five of them namely Imran, Usman, Ajmal, Kashif, Allah Ditta and Imran were shifted to Lahore due to critical condition.
In Razaabad, Muneeba, Irfan, Maliha and minor Qurat-ul-Ain were injured due to cylinder blast in their house. All the injured were rushed to hospital while one Irfan shifted to Lahore for treatment. Third incident occurred at Islampura where scrap dealer Riaz got injuries due to cracker blast during work.
LABOURER ELECTROCUTED: In Sialkot, an Attock-based labourer, Javaid Iqbal, 42, was electrocuted after receiving a sewer electrical shock from a main electrical cable while labouring outside a factory near the Small Industrial Estate Sialkot. Rescue 1122 Sialkot officials shifted dead body to Attack for burial.
