Jahangir Tareen woos back AJI disgruntled leadership

SWABI- Matters between Pakistan Tehreek-e- Insaf (PTI) and Awami Jamhoori Ittehad (AJI) have been settled and both the parties have agreed to stay and work together for five years.

As per media reports, AJI leader Shahram Tarkai was not given time to deliver speech in PTI November, 30 public meeting at Islamabad nor his party was greeted open heartedly, which annoyed him and he left the public meeting under protest.

KPK chief minister Pervez Khattak and PTI secretary general Jahangir Tareen visited Swabi and held meeting with AJI leadership. Jahangir Tareen allayed the concerns of AJI and pacified the party leadership.

Talking to media men on the occasion Jahangir Tareen said, AJI leaders could not seek opportunity to deliver speech in November, 30 public meeting. We admit our mistake. AJI leaders are our brothers. PTI and AJI will work together for five years and a group of vested interests has occupied the corridor of powers.
