TTP agrees for conditional talks with Govt

Tehreek Taliban Pakistan has signaled for conditional talks with federal government which is being considered a big positive development for the country’s law and order situation.
In a new video tape released on Sunday, TTP Spokesman Ehsanullah Ehsan said that Taliban gave positive response to the government’s offer for talks.
Ahsan said that discussion with government was only possible only if Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif, chief of the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman or Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) Ameer Syed Munawar Hasan give guarantee.
He also appreciated the efforts of Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan saying he (Dr Qadeer) has done well for Islam and Pakistan. Dr Abdul Qadeer’s name could also consider for discussion, the spokesman said.
Ehsan further said that the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) was responsible for the killings of religious scholars in Karachi warning that the killers would be sternly dealt with.
The TTP spokesman also discarded the rumors of differences between Hakimullah Mehsud and Wali ur Rehman and said there were no differences between both the top TTP leaders.
