TOBA TEK SINGH - Chuttiana Police Monday registered a murder case against a man for killing his wife.
Complainant, Nasir Jat of Narowal, informed the police that his sister Abida was married to accused, Azam Jat of chak 328 GB, who slaughtered her to death. He said that the deceased was married to Azam some eight years ago but they had no baby due to which the accused killed her.
Foundation stone of DHQ Hospital building to be laid: MNA Junaid Anwaar and MPAs Mian Muhammad Rafiq and Ayub Gadhi will on Saturday lay foundation stone of extension in DHQ Hospital building in which a new 125-beds ward will be added.
The project was approved by Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif as he was to inaugurate the start of construction work but due to his engagements, he could not reach and directed the said three parliamentarians to jointly lay foundation stone in his place.
