Rs360m TMA budget unveiled

MAILSI - Administrator Dr Faiz Ahmad Nadeem announced Rs360 million tax free budget of the TMA for year of 2012-13 here at Jinnah Hall, the other day.
He said that Rs55 million has been set aside for the development while Rs11 million more revenue will be generate this year.  He said that all employees would be provided with 20 per cent increase in salaries as per the announcement of the Punjab government.
The administrator claimed that a number of development projects had been proposed in the budget to provide facilities to the public. On the occasion, TMO Muhammad Azhar said that it was a balanced and tax free budget, designed keeping in view the available resources and demands for the development of the tehsil. He also mentioned that the TMA had spent Rs7 million on the completion of Quaid-e-Azam and Railway roads.
Chief officer Ch Muhammad Nadeem, Malik Naeem Awan, Revenue Officer Syed Shasaan Elahi, Sheikh Muhammad Javaid, Mailsi Press Club Preseident Muhammad Aslam Khan Yousafzai and General Secretary Anjuman-e-Tajraan Zahid Khan Sherwani were also present on the occasion.
