Islamabad- Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali has taken oath as Acting Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan today.
Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani administered the oath.
Earlier, Justice Nasirul Mulk resigned as acting CEC after announcement of his appointment as next Chief Justice of Pakistan.
Judges of the Supreme Court of Pakistan and Attorney General for Pakistan also attended the ceremony.  Syed Tahir Shahbaz, Registrar Supreme Court of Pakistan conducted the proceedings of oath taking ceremony.
