MUZAFFARGARH - DCO Tahir Khurshid Chaudhry led a walk of persons with disability to highlight the importance of the anti-polio vaccination among children here on Saturday.
The walk was organised by the Health Department in collaboration with the Unicef. Social Welfare Department, PML-N District General Secretary Hamad Nawaz Tipo and officials of the Health Department and EPI participated in it. The participants were holding placards and banners to highlight the importance of the anti-polio campaign.
 Later the participants attended a seminar organised in connection with the upcoming anti-polio vaccination campaign. Speaking on the occasion, DCO Tahir Khurshid, EDO (Finance) Irfan Ahmed Sindo, EDO (CD) Sohail Tareen, EDO (Health) Dr Ashiq Hussain Malik, EPI Coordinator Dr Wahid Shah and DO Social Welfare Muhammad Saleem Akhtar urged the parents to get children immunised to save them from polio.
