Rawalpindi- Chaklala Cant Board has acquired land at Chakri road and Chak Beli Khan road  for dumping garbage of its respective areas.
Agreement has been signed with a private land owner for the acquisition of land for construction of dumping point on temporary basis. The owner will be paid Rs 130000 per month for dumping garbage.
Cantt Board’s authorities said that the sanitation system will improve significantly with the establishment of dumping point at the acquired land. It will help eliminate garbage heaps.
Chaklala Cantt Board authorities said wherever the garbage will be thrown it will be buried under the earth.
