Khosa terms Shahbaz unconstitutional CM

MULTAN - Punjab Governor Sardar Latif Khan Khosa has said that if Supreme Court decides Asghar Khan and Mehran Bank cases, Nawaz Sharif will have to face action under Article 6.
“His politics will crumble down if these cases are decided,” he added while talking to the media persons here at Multan Airport on Tuesday. He lashed out at Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif, claiming that he was unconstitutional chief minister. He alleged that Sharif brothers committed financial assassination of South Punjab. “This region is deprived of its rights for the last 65 years and it’s PPP that will give rights to the residents of the region,” he pledged.
To a query, he dubbed the six points of Akhtar Mengal as the six points of Sheikh Mujeebur Rehman. “Pakistan Army’s 7000 jawans have embraced martyrdom in operation against terrorism while Nawaz Sharif is embracing those putting forward six points,” he maintained. He said that the armed forces of Pakistan were under democratic regime.
Referring to Balochistan, he said that it was the PPP that soothed Balochs rights after coming into power. “We sought apology from Balochs and offered Aghaz-e-Huqooq-e-Balochistan Package,” he recounted the achievements of his government. He said that the soil of Balochistan was full of natural treasures like oil, gas, gold and copper. “Let’s strive together and make Balochs and Pakistan prosperous,” he invited the Balochs. Replying a question on Seraiki province, he said that the national commission for the said province had not expired as it was the discretion of the National Assembly speaker to further extend its time limit. To a query, he claimed that the PPP would unveil the real faces of Sharif brothers by getting approved resolution for Seraiki province from Senate as the government enjoyed two thirds majority in the upper house.
Responding to another question, he accused the Punjab government of shelving Justice Mansoor Ali Shah Commission report on flood. “They haven’t taken any action against the persons found guilty of drowning poor people’s homes.”
