Work at Children Home in full swing

FAISALABAD
Under the arrangements of Punjab Social Welfare Department, a Children Home with the residential capacity of 50 children is being established at Social Welfare Complex in People’s Colony at a cost of Rs53.771 million, said DO Social Welfare Wahida Iftikhar.
She said that the children home would be completed during the current financial year as more than 80 percent construction work had been completed. Giving details about the project, the DO said that conference room, common room, TV room, caretaker room and book store were being constructed in the basement of the building while superintendent office, staff room, library, house keeper room, visitors gallery and toilets would be available at ground floor.  She said that funds for the project had been released by the Punjab government and work was in progress. DCO Najam Ahmad Shah said that the project be completed within stipulated time.
 He said that he should immediately be informed in case of any obstacle and hindrance in the completion of the children home.
