Incidents of car lifting, robberies increased in Islamabad

Rawalpindi- Islamabad has been witnessing increase in street crimes and robberies.

According to reports, incidents of car lifting and picking up valuables from parked vehicles increased in the federal capital, once the most peaceful and crime-free city in the country.

Anwar, a victim, wanted to register his complain in Aabpara Police Station for lifting his car which was parked in Sunday Bazaar, instead of launching FIR, Aabpara police refused to listen him.

Another victim, Mairaj faced similar circumstances who told Margalla Police that he visit F9 Park along with his family where unknown persons steal laptop, cash, gold ornaments and other valuables from his parked car.

Police has registered FIR and started investigations.
