JI not to support dissolution of KP Assembly: Siraj

PESHAWAR - Central Ameer of Jamaat Islami (JI) Sirajul Haq has announced that his party would not support dissolution of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.
He was addressing an Eid Millen party in Nowshera on Sunday. He said that if the major party of the coalition government wants to quit the government, it has the right to do so. However, he said, the JI would not support dissolution of the provincial assembly. He said that there was no such extraordinary situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to which the assembly could be dissolved.
About August 14 Azadi March, he said that Pakistan Tehrik-e-Pakistan has right to hold long march and suggested the federal government to welcome the PTI march and provide facilities to marchers.
He said that federal government should not come under the pressure of the long march, as it is part of the democratic process. He mentioned that JI is not in the favour of dissolution of provincial assembly. He condemned the Israel aggression in Palestine and asked the Muslim world to join Jihad against the Zionist regime. He said that silence of human right organisation, United Nation, United States, Britain and international community is a matter of grave concern as there is no justification of killing innocent children and people in brutal bombardment.
He said that that it was responsibility of the federal government to provide assistance to the displaced families of North Waziristan. However, he added, the provincial government was also providing relief to the IDPs.
