London- MQM chief Altaf Hussain asked PM Nawaz Sharif to step down from office if it could pull the country out of crises.
In a statement issued from London, Hussain urged political leaders to abstain from political mudslinging and have resolved their differences through dialogue. The MQM leader asked Nawaz Sharif to study the emerging situation deeply, and if there was a threat to the safety of people because of protests and sit-ins, the PM should show courage and step down. He added the PM may transfer his powers to any leader from his party or find any other constitutional way to keep everyone’s dignity intact.
