The CIA police held five accused during a raid at a beauty parlor in Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Town within the remits of Jhal Chakkian police station.
The police claimed that the arrested persons were involved in robbery at the residence of former caretaker chief minister of Punjab Afzal Hayat. According to sources, the CIA police conducted a raid on the beauty parlor situated in a house at posh area of Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Town to arrest most wanted accused persons involved number of robberies and other heinous crimes. It nabbed five accused including two ladies.
However, the police officials denied giving any details. Meanwhile, local police sources said that the arrested people were related to dangerous group of criminals and wanted by the police in dozens of robberies in posh areas of Lahore and allegedly involved in house robbery of Afzal Hayat. CIA police made their departure for Lahore along with the accused.
