MARDAN Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Chief Minister, Ameer Haider Khan Hoti Saturday said the Nato attack on Pakistani check posts in Mohmand Agency was against Pakistan sovereignty and independence, and the whole nation condemned it. He said the decisions of suspending Nato supply, vacating Shamshi Airbase and boycotting Bonn Conference are very important in this connection. He said, the political weather of the country is becoming hotter day-by-day and the people have their own agenda, which I respect, but I have only one-point agenda to serve the masses and this land. I have been serving the masses in my four years government, and in the reaming period I will also serve the masses Inshaallah. He expressed these views while addressing a public meeting at Pakhtunkhwa (Circuit House) held in connection with distribution of appointment letters among the employees of the emergency service Rescue 1122, Mardan division, and later talking to the media. Senior Minister Raheem Dad Khan, Sports Minister Syed Aqil Khan, Minister Haji Hidayatullah Khan, members provincial assembly (MPAs) Haji Haji Ahmed Khan Bahadur, Malak Tamash Khan, female MPAs Dr Yasmeen Jaseem, Munawar Sultana, Zubada Bibi, Commissioner Mardan Muhammad Adil Khan, ANP district president Muhammad Farooq Akram Khan, General Secretary Imran Manduri and other office bearers, and other high-ups of the district were also present at this occasion. Director Emergency Rescue Service Dr Shamsul Haq also addressed in the meeting. The CM said that ANP Chief Asfandyar Wali Khan presented the party stance immediately after the Nato attack and condemned the incident, demanding affective answer to the attack. He said no compromise would be made on national solidarity and independence. He said in the prevailing situation they were in war condition, but despite it the law and order situation was better in province. He said, our government has done a lot of works in the province. My heart is satisfied with starting emergency rescue service in the province. I am proud of this project. He said when he came into power there was no rescue service, and whenever any incident occurred, people were left on the mercy of God. He said that through the service, rescue service would be provided to people within minutes. He said five rescue centres would be established in different places of the city including Swabi road, Chasadda road, Mardan Medical Complex, Town Hall and Takhatbhai. He thanked the Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif and Punjab government, saying that they supported Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government by giving training to the rescue staffers. He distributed appointment letters among 309 employees of the rescue service. The appointed employees would start their work after completing their five-month training in Punjab.
