QUETTA - Special Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Monday ordered former President Pervez Musharraf to appear in person on next date of hearing.

ATC Judge Tariq Anwar issued the order after hearing a petition of Musharraf in which he had sought exemption from appearing in the court.

During the hearing, two accused, former Federal Interior Minister Aftab Ahmed Sherpao and ex-Provincial Home Minister Shoaib Noshaewani appeared. The court reserved the verdict on the bail applications of Aftab Ahmed Sherpao and Shoaib Nosharwani till February 24.

The counsel of Pervez Musharraf produced his medical reports in the court and sought exemption from appearing before the court through a written request.

The court expressed dissatisfaction over the medical reports and ordered the ex-military dictator to appear in person on February 24.
