Qul for deceased SHO held


NANKANA SAHIB - CCPO Lahore Ahmed Raza Tahir, DIG (Operations) Ghulam Mahmood Dogar, SSP Lahore Sarfaraz Falki and DPO Nankana Dr Haider Ashraf participated in the Qul for the deceased Hudyara (Lahore) SHO Inspector Mian Arshad at his native village Chukhiynawala near Nankana city here on Tuesday.
On the occasion, the CCPO Lahore gave a cheque of Rs3 million on behalf of the IG Punjab Police to the deceased inspector’s widow. He also announced that she would be provided with the deceased’s salary and later pension in the future accordingly.
Thousands of people from all walks of life including notables of the district attended the Qul. His father Mian Manzoor is a prominent figure of the area. Friends and family members of the martyred SHO were crying and weeping while explaining and discussing about his good behaviour. The only son of the martyred inspector, Asad Ullah, who is studying in FC College Lahore, turned down the offer for police job as constable and expressed his aims that after getting higher education, he would join the Police Force in the future.
Cases registered over facilitating POs: Cases registered over facilitating proclaimed offenders. According to details, on a tip-off, Sadder Nankana Police raided to arrest a proclaimed offender, Ali Haider, who was sheltered in his father’s house and fled away to see the police with the help of his father.
Meanwhile, PO Sabeel alias Sabilla was present on Dhoor Kot bus stop with his brother who assisted the accused to run away.
