KARACHI  - PPP Senator Faisal Raza Abidi resigned on Tuesday from the post of party President Karachi division, here on Tuesday. PPP Karachi division spokesperson, Kausar Amir said that Abidi had resigned because of health reasons and had also been admitted to hospital. Faisal Raza Abidi had also met President Asif Ali Zardari to resolve the party differences. Meanwhile, Qasim Baloch has been made Southern District President, while Karamallah Waqas Batoor has been made Secretary. Abidi also resigned from the post of President’s Adviser. He was made President of the Karachi division in November last year.Sources said that PPP has nominated Qadir Patel as the President of PPP’s Karachi wing and Adviser to the President after Abidi’s resignation.
