Special attention is being paid to the health sector in rural areas, claimed Dr Mehmood, the deputy district officer.
He was addressing a training session organised by SAP-PK on “Conduct Monitoring and Oversight of Social Values”. He said that health issues can be resolved only if pointed out by the public. The role of non-government organisation at low level is very good sign, he added.
Regional programme officer Sultan Mehmood, Deputy District Officer (Education) Yasmeen Akhtar, Nadia Rasool, Muhammad Zubair and Muhammad Ayoub Aalam also attended the session. Sultan said that SAP-Pk has started its programme in Bahawalnagar which will become a strong voice of the people of Bahawalnagar especially from rural areas.
