Efforts on to improve GSCWU administration

Efforts are underway to improve the set-up of the Govt Sadiq College Women University (GSCWU) Bahawalpur to make the university a model institution of women education where girls can feel proud to get admission for higher education.
This was stated by GSCWU Vice Chancellor Dr Muhammad Mukhtar at the 1st salary distribution ceremony to 60 GSCWU visiting lecturers here the other.
He said that the university administration was considering regularization of the system, adding that the salaries of the visiting lecturers had been arranged from a special fund set up to run academic activities smoothly and pay salaries to 60 visiting lecturers who were paid Rs75,000 per each per month.
On the occasion, the VC announced that these visiting lecturers would soon be given contracts for better results.
GSCWU Registrar Prof Begum Salma Khan also highlighted the ongoing academic, financial and administrative progress of the university.
As per details, Faculty of Science and Education Dean Dr Asghar Hashmi highly appreciated the VC committed efforts for managing payment for the visiting lecturers of the university. IUB Faculty of Arts Dean Dr Memona Ghani, Faculty of Islamic Learning Dean Dr Sabiha Khakwani, Faculty of Education Dean Prof Noushaba Kausar and Controller Surriya Tallat also addressed the ceremony.
