KAMOKE - An employee of the THQ Hospital was killed here the other night.
As per detail, Arshad (Naib Qasid) at THQ Hospital was going back home after night duty at the hospital. Meanwhile, three unidentified accused intercepted him and opened indiscriminate fire on him, killing him on the spot.
Following the incidents, the bereaved family members accompanied by locals blocked GT Road by placing the dead body on the road and demanded arrest of the culprits.
They shouted slogans against the police and demanded early arrest of the accused and appointment of an honest officer for investigation.
They dispersed when Rana Nazir Ahmad and Islam Mugal reached there and assured them that the accused would be arrested soon. The police have registered a murder case against the unidentified killers.
