RAHIM YAR KHAN - The keys of 94 model houses were distributed to the flood-effected people in Rahim Yar Khan after the third balloting through a transparent process.
Under the Model Village Housing Society, DCO Dr Ahmed Javed Qazi distributed the keys to the victims. Addressing the participants of the ceremony, he said that the Punjab government gave the houses to the people of Moza Rasoolpur, Katchi Mazi, Muslimabad, 46 NP, Baht Allah Wasya and Mid Minthar area.  He said that the flood in 2010 was a big disaster for Pakistan and the people of the country but the nation supported the victims in the difficult times. He said that these houses were the model ones having electricity, gas, solar energy, mosque, school, playing ground, dispensary and vocational institute.
On the occasion, PML-N Divisional President Khalid Shaheen was also present. He appreciated the effort of the DCO regarding the project completion. He also help the Punjab government for facilitating the flood effected people.
