KARACHI/HYDERABAD/GUJRANWALA- At least 10 people were killed and 44 others injured in rain-related different road mishaps on Monday. According to rescue sources, at least four passengers died and 25 others sustained injuries in a collision between two passenger buses near Matyari area due to slippery road as heavy rain continued for many hours.In another road accident on National Highway located between Matyari and Hyderabad, a van overturned due to over speeding, killing a person and injuring three others. A man was killed and two others injured as a vehicle slammed into an electric pole at National Highway near Razzaqabad area in Karachi. In another road accident, a person died at National Highway in Hatri area. The dead bodies and injured were shifted to hospitals in Matyari and Halla. In another incident, seven people sustained injuries after their passenger bus met an accident near Fine House at Shahrah-e-Faisal. Four more people were also injured in the road accident in Manzoor Colony. At least, three persons died and five others injured in a collision between two cars near Uroob More in Gujranwala.
