Demand of open balloting exposed all political parties: Qureshi

Peshawar- Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) vice chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi today said, that PTI’s demand of open balloting has exposed all political parties involved in horse trading.
Talking to media Shah Mahmood stated that he has visited Peshawar with PTI chairman Imran Khan and met the provincial members, to discuss ways to rid horse trading and introduce transparency in Senate elections. He said that despite assurances of federal government, nothing serious has been done to curb horse trading in Senate elections.

Furthermore he stated that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) want to seek access to Senate employing undemocratic ways, whereas both the parties have denounced 22nd amendment which is the proof of keeping inequitable rituals alive.
He said that PTI was determined to carry out free and fair elections across country, and will continue to resist every effort of snatching public mandate.
