KARACHI- The Government has finalized next strategies for ongoing peace negotiations with banned militant outfit, Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and updated its preparation details to Taliban mediation committee.
The Federal Minister of Interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, would apprise Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif regarding the moves to be taken in next phase of Taliban talks, media reported today. Direct dialogues with TTP would be organised in presence of Taliban intermediators under new strategy designed in order to design next policy of Pakistan government. Taliban leadership would be provided with clear message to inquire their intentions whether they want permanent peace agreement or not; next policies will be projected in accordance TTP’s response. Higher authorities of Pakistan government informed Taliban mediation committee with its level of sincerity for negotiation process by released various non-combatant Taliban prisoners but TTP did not take any step to release prisoners in their custody, reports said. The government seemed to reach at conclusion point now as they urged TTP leadership to present their demands clearly to increase visibility for making firm decisions by the Pakistan government after reviewing the militants’ demands.
