LAHORE  - Engineer Khalil Ahmed Khan, son of ex-PU VC Prof Hameed Khan died in Pennsylvania (US) after a brief illness.
Quran Khawani for the departed soul will be held at his residence 804-W Defence Housing Society, between Asr and Maghrib prayers on Sunday (today).
Late Khalil Ahmed Khan was the nephew of Maulana Zafar Ali Khan (hero of independence movement), Prof Mehmood Ahmed Khan (Registrar Usmania University, Hyderabad Daccan) and Maulana Hamid Ali Khan (poet & intellectual) and younger brother of Saeed Ahmed Khan (Dawood Hercules) and Jameel Ahmed Khan (NBP).

 and elder brother of Waqar Ahmed Khan (PSO), Dr Mansoor Ahmed Khan (Phoenix Arizona) and Dr Mumtaz Ahmed Khan (New York Upstate). He has left behind three sons, two daughters and a widow.
