Aftab Ahmed died in the custody of Rangers paramilitary force under controversial circumstances.
Meanwhile, the Rangers have suspended an unmentioned number of officials for their 'suspected involvement' in Ahmed's death. “The services of Rangers officials allegedly involved in Aftab’s death have been suspended until further inquiry,” a press release stated.
While the Rangers stated that Aftab Ahmed Hussain died of cardiac arrest, the MQM alleged their man was subjected to deadly torture which led to his death.
