QUETTA : A Frontier Corps man was killed and two others were injured in a landmine explosion in Toba Naukani area of Bugti Tribal Territory on Friday.
Security personnel were on routine patrol when their vehicle hit a landmine planted by Baloch militants. A security man died on the spot and two sustained injuries as a result of the explosion. "More troops were sent in the area. The body and injured were shifted to Hospital," a security official said while confirming the incident.
He said that the Baloch militants could be responsible for this attack.
Security forces have launched a search in the area after the incident.
