Jamaatud Dawa has decided to hold ‘Yakjehti-e-Palestine Caravan and a public meeting here on August 10.
The Caravan will be led by JuD Ameer Hafiz Muhammad Saeed and leaders of different political and religious parties will participate in it. In order to win public support, the JuD will hold protest demonstrations and public meetings on August 8 in entire South Punjab followed by a public meeting in Bahawalpur on August 9.
In connection with the upcoming events, the JuD Ameer said that the Muslim rulers should remember their duty regarding getting the Muslims free of tyranny of states like Israel. He added that Palestine is the issue of defence of entire Muslim Ummah and all political and religious parties should join hands on the issue.
He hoped that the largest jail of world would be broken if the Muslims united at one platform. He maintained that the Muslims had pinned no hopes on the US, UK, UN and other western countries or organisations as their biased behaviour and support to Israel unveiled their real faces.
He pointed out that out of all leaders of Muslim world, only Pakistani premier NawazSharif and Saudi King Shah Abdullah gave condemnation statements on Israeli terrorism. “But mere statements cannot do anything. Nawaz Sharif should convene a conference of leaders of all Islamic states like Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and play role to rid the Palestinians of Israeli terrorism,” he demanded.
