Islamabad- Foreign Office says arrangements are being made for evacuation of stranded Pakistanis in Libya.
Some 3 to 6000 Pakistanis are waiting to be evacuated. As no Libyan airport is operating at the moment, Pakistan Embassy in Tunisia is making arrangements for Pakistanis to get Tunisian visa on arrival at the border from where they will be able to take flights for the country. Pakistan embassy in Tripoli has already registered a large number of Pakistanis and referred their documents to Tunisian authorities for visa on arrival. All Pakistanis in Libya have been asked to contact the Embassy and inform its staff about their location and get registered.
