SARGODHA - The police smashed an inter-provincial narcotic trafficking network and seized 11 Kg of Charas from four arrested culprits here the other day.
Reportedly, the Kotmomin Police received information that some inter-provincial drug dealers were involved in transporting narcotics to local vendors and addicts in the tehsil.
Acting on the tip-off, a team of Kotmomin Police under the supervision of SHO Inspector Muhammad Usman raided and arrested the drug peddlers identified as Shahbaz Khan Mangal, son of Azam Khan, resident of Kurrum Agency and Sabir Khan Mangal, son of Jannat Gull, resident of Para Chanar and recovered five kg of Charas from their possession.
After the investigation, the arrested drug peddlers led the police to a hideout of their accomplices from where the police also arrested two more suspects namely Shoaib Alam Khan, son of Alamdar, resident of Hayatabad, Peshawar and Islamuddin son of Abdul Latif, resident of Khyber Agency and recovered more six kg of Charas and cash amounting to Rs50,000 from their possession.
The police have registered separate cases against the accused persons.
