PESHAWAR - Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Barrister Masood Kausar has appealed to the countrymen in general and the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA in particular to reaffirm their commitment to be ready to offer any sacrifice for upholding the just cause of the people of Kashmir and make their long cherished dream of getting freedom from the clutches of Indian occupation materialized.   Ensuring complete unity and cohesion in our ranks in this critical juncture of our history is in itself will be of a great source of strength to our Kashmiri brethren and I also appeal my countrymen to be conscious in this connection too.
This he has said in a message on the eve of 5th February; (the Kashmir Day). “We as a nation observe 5th February, 2013 as a Day of Solidarity with our Kashmiri brethren who have been struggling for the last more than 65 years to secure right of self determination and ultimately achieve their just goal of freedom, he said.  The day offers the opportunity to Kashmiri people across the world to realize the world community at large especially the human rights champions about their role not only in mitigating the suffering of the Kashmiri people but also extend moral and diplomatic support to them. Being the staunch supporters of the Kashmiri people in their freedom struggle, we as a Pakistani nation have been offering matchless sacrifices and courageously raising and supporting their just cause at every forum both within the country and abroad.
 The people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA having their comparatively closer practical association with the Kashmiri brethren ever since their basic right of self-determination was usurped by the then Hindu Maharaja at the behest of his Indian mentors 65 years ago still nourishing un-flinching attachment in their hearts and souls for them.
“I take this opportunity to appeal the countrymen in general and the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA in particular to re-affirm their commitment to be ready to offer any sacrifice for up-holding the just cause of the people of Kashmir and make their long cherished dream of getting freedom from the clutches of Indian occupation materialized.
