Sit-in staged in front of Parliament

ISLAMABAD - Hundreds of CNG station owners and transporters assembled in front of the Parliament House and staged a protest sit-in against the distribution of gas to the industrial sector and gas loadshedding for domestic consumers and CNG stations. They were demanding smooth gas supply for CNG stations and domestic consumers. They, however, also rejected the recent hike in prices of petroleum products. They were carrying banners and placards, and chanted slogans in favour of their demands. All Pakistan CNG Association organised peaceful protest demo on Tuesday along with support of twin cities' transport union leaders to raise voice against continued loadshedding due to 'unjust distribution' of gas in the country. Chairman Supreme Council APCNGA, Ghiyas Abdullah Paracha while speaking on the occasion said that the Govt should give exemption of loadshedding to CNG sector.
