KHANEWAL - The district sugarcane cess committee (DSCC) has approved Rs4.5 million for road construction projects during a meeting held here with DCO Rashid Mehmood in the chair.
According to detail, the district sugarcane cess committee which meet at the committee room of DCO office, approved the construction road project N-5 from Katch Khu to Taluma, Muhammadpur to be completed at a cost of Rs 4.5m. The members of the committee also reviewed the pace of work on a road in Chak 19/9R Sharki (Bheni Haji Nazir Ahmad). The meeting was attended by EDO Finance M Asgar Bhatti, EDO Agriculture Rana Bisharat Ali, EDO Works, DO Road M Shahid, DO Forestry Khurram Shahzad and General Manager Cane Colony Sugar Mills. On the occasion, the DCO also directed the EDO Works to submit a report on all such roads that needed repair immediately.
