Efforts underway to provide relief to IDPs: Chairman NDMA

Bannu- Chairman National Disaster Management Authority Major General Saeed Aleem has said all possible measures are being taken to provide basic facilities to the IDPs at relief camps in Bannu and D.I. Khan.
He was talking to media persons after visiting the relief camp set up for the IDPs of North Waziristan at Bakkakhel in Bannu today.
The NDMA Chairman inspected various sections of the relief camp and expressed satisfaction over the arrangements.  He also met some IDPs and listened to their grievances and directed the officials concerned to address them immediately.
He also announced to provide beds and other necessary facilities to the IDPs.
Earlier, Commissioner Bannu Syed Mohsin Shah briefed the NDMA Chairman about the relief measures being taken for the IDPs.
