ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has conveyed his heartfelt felicitations to US President Barack Obama and the American nation on their independence day.
In a letter to the US president, the PM said, “Our two nations are bound by ideals of freedom, democracy and human rights. We are committed to consolidating this relationship into a broad and enduring partnership.” He assured the US president that Pakistan would continue to adhere to further strengthening bilateral beneficial relations and enhanced cooperation to the benefit of the two peoples.
The prime minister wished the people of the United States of America continued progress and prosperity. “Pakistan values the confidence and understanding that exists at the leadership level between our two countries,” he concluded.–STAFF REPORTER
