An 18-month child was diagnosed with polio in Balochistan, making him the very first polio case in 2017, according to the health department.
The child was diagnosed with the virus in the Chaman area of Qilla Abdullah.
The heath department also added that the parents of this child had refused to let the polio team administer the drops, leading to the child contracting the virus.
