PESHAWAR - Fata Students Union (FSU) of Agriculture University Tuesday demanded the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government release their arrested colleagues.Addressing a news conference here at Peshawar Press Club, President FSU Abid Afrid said that a few days back a clash between two rival students groups took place at the University of Peshawar wherein the tribal students had no concern. He alleged that the administration of Agriculture University Peshawar upon the pressure of the provincial coalition government arrested some of the tribal students and sent them to prison. Flanked by other office-bearers of FSU including Habib Darvesh and Jamshid Wazir, he said that the arrested tribal students were not having affiliation with any political group. The tribal activists warned to launch a series of protest demonstrations against the government if their arrested associates were not released forthwith. This news was published in The Nation newspaper.
