Quetta- Baluchistan Assembly Speaker Jan Muhammad Jamali has hinted at forming his own party with the help of like-minded legislators.
Jamali, who belongs to the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, has developed differences with the central leadership after the party denied a ticket to his daughter to contest Senate polls, on a reserved seat for women.
While talking to reporters outside the Baluchistan Assembly today, Jamali minced no words when he said that he was planning to found the Muslim League Baluchistan in the future. He also said that his daughter was contesting the Senate polls as an independent candidate, after she was denied party ticket.
While alluding to horse-trading and vote buying, he also claimed that many assembly members would not vote for their party candidates.
