Peshawar- Ameer Jamat-e-Islami Siraj-ul-Haq has urged members of assemblies to vote for candidates in the Senate election on merit and reject the politics of corruption.
Talking to members of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly in Peshawar, he said if a member of Senate comes on the basis of money, he/she will work for personal interest and not for the country or nation.
Sirajul Haq asked the Election Commission to evolve strategy for fair and transparent general polls in the future.
