GUJRAT/MIRPUR/THARPARKAR/LAHORE - Several rallies were taken out in various cities of the country to express solidarity with Pakistan Army and premier intelligence ISI on Sunday. As per details, the enthusiastic demonstrators were carrying placards, posters of Chief of Army Staff Gen Raheel Sharif and DG ISI Gen Zaheerul Islam and were shouting slogans in favour of the armed forces. They said that allegations against the armed forces were not acceptable and that no compromise would be made over the sanctity of the defence institutions. In Lahore, two-wheel adventure group took out rally on motorbikes. The rally was taken out from Lahore till Head Baloki. The participants said that no one would be allowed to hatch conspiracies against the state institutions. Another rally was held in Tharparkar by members of civil society and trade associations. The demonstrators kept chanting slogans in favour of Pakistan armed forces. ‘Shehri action’ committee took out rally in Mirpur to express solidarity with armed forces. The rally was taken out from Ghanta Ghar which culminated at Bhatai Chowk. Children wearing military uniform demonstrated in favour of armed forces by marching during the rally. Traders, student organisations, religious and minority organizations held rally near Kashmir Chowk to show solidarity with Pakistan armed forces. Demonstrators demanded end to the media trial of defence institutions. In Gujrat and other cities, rallied were held on the call of PML-Q.This news was published in The Nation newspaper.
