PESHAWAR - The meeting of provincial executive committee of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) strongly denounced the killings of tribal leader Malik Qadir Khan in Waziristan and Maulana Mohammad Fazil in Bajaur Agency and termed them a conspiracy to sabotage the peace initiative.The meeting of JUI-F provincial executive council was chaired by KP Ameer Maulana Lutfur Rahman here at party provincial secretariat on Sunday. The meeting was also attended by Maulana Mohammad Qasim, Maulana Fazal Ali, Haji Abdul Jalil Jan, Maulana Amanat Shah, Noor-ul-Islam, Maulana Aziz Ahmad and Mufti Abdul Shakoor.Briefing media persons regarding the council's decisions, Provincial Information secretary Abdul Jalil Jan said that the meeting has expressed deep concern over the killings of tribal leader Malik Qadir Khan of Waziristan and Maulana Mohammad Fazil in Bajaur Agency. He said that meeting also discussed the ongoing security situation of the country and preparation for the upcoming Dastar-e-Fazilat Conference which would be held on May 31.He said that seven committees were founded to take various responsibilities regarding security and management. These committee included registration committee, administration committee, reception committee, stage committee, security committee, media committee and finance committee.Jalil said that the Dastar-e-Fazilat Conference would be held on May 31 near Motorway Chowk on Ring Road after evening prayer, which will be attended by religious scholars and clerics of Pakistan and India.This news was published in The Nation newspaper.
