HYDERABAD – At least three people were killed and another three injured on Sunday as unidentified men opened fire at an office of a religio-political party in Hyderabad, on the second consecutive day of violence in this second largest city of Sindh.An office of a local religio-political party was targeted in the attack in Haider Chowk area as part of a war for political power and influence, private TV channels reported. Police and rescue workers reached at the spot and shifted the injured to the Civil Hospital.On Saturday, at least four people – including a joint sector in-charge of the MQM and two members of Bohra community – lost their lives in two separate incidents of firing in the Bohri Bazaar and Nishat Cinema area of the city.The law enforcing authorities cordoned-off the area after the incident. Panic gripped the adjoining areas and business activities came to a halt following the shooting. Pakistan Sunni Tehrik (PST) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leaders visited the injured at the hospital.
