Police resolve blind murder case

LAKKI MARWAT - Local police on Thursday claimed solution of a blind murder case of a police constable while arresting a man believed to be the member of a notorious criminal gang.
“A constable Kiramatullah was killed in the forests of reed plants on the night of August 25 when he was going to his village Mastikhel from Dhoda on his motorbike,” an official told. He said that the killers had escaped taking away his bike.
“After registration of case against unknown killers an investigation team constituted on the directives of regional police officer Bannu region Nisar Ahmad Tanoli started probing the case”, he maintained. He told that police investigators successfully traced the blind murder and arrested an accused identified as Wahid resident of Daulatkhel.
“On questioning the arrested man told police that he and his other accomplices belonging to Mosami gang killed the constable and also snatched a motorcycle from him”, official disclosed. He added that police recovered the snatched motorbike from the forests near Dhoda village and started efforts to bring other culprits into clutches of law.
