Faisalabad: The anti-polio campaign will get underway in the Punjab province from September 14 to 16, in which drops of polio vaccine would be administered to children.

As per the target fixed by the health department in Faisalabad, around 1, 295m children aging up to five years would be given polio drops. 2846 teams would be deployed on the duties during the Anti-polio campaign.

Under the directives of Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, all resources would be utilized to achieve the required target set by the health department. Seminar and workshops would be conducted to bring awareness among the parents, to prevent the country from the polio virus.

The help would be taken from religious scholars, civil society, traders and public representatives to make the campaign a success.
