KARACHI The leaders of political and religio-political organisations on Tuesday demanded the resignation of federal interior minister and Punjab home minister over their failure to control the terrorism activities and attacks on holy shrines. This was demanded by the leaders of various parties in the multi-parties conference (MPC) organised by Nizam-e-Mustafa Party to condemn the attack on Darbar Sakhi Sawar, Dera Ghazi Khan. Nizam-e-Mustafa Party Chief Haji Hanif Tayyab, MQM Coordination committee member and Provincial Minister Dr Sagheer Ansari, Sunni Tehreek leader Matloob Awan, Shia action committee leader Maulana Mirza Yousuf Hussain, Mehfooz Yar Khan of AML, Sufi Arsahd Qadri and Faisal Siddiqui of Markazi JUP, Ghulam Murtaza Meharvi of Sunni Ulema Council and others spoke on the meeting. The speakers in their addresses condemned the suicide attack on the shrine of Darbar Sakhi Sarwar, saying that the government and law enforcement agencies have failed to apprehended the terrorists. They further said that the shrines of Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi, Hazrat Ali Hajveri, Baba Fareeduddin Gang Buksh Shakar, Beri Imam and others shrines were attacked by the terrorists but the government has failed to expose the masterminds of these suicide attacks on holy shrines.
