BHONG- Alleged mastermind of the Pakistan’s Rahim Yar Khan gas pipelines’ explosion has been arrested in Bhong village during a joint raid conducted by Punjab Police and sensitive institutions today.
According to reports, security and intelligence agencies have claimed to arrest alleged mastermind of the attack, along with his gang members from Bhong village of Punjab province today. While one accused has managed to flee from the location. The attackers blew main gas pipelines in Punjab last month, cutting supplies to the province. According to security officials, all accused are belonging to banned-organisation, while one person is employee of Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC). The allged attackers were claimed to be trained in neighbouring country. The persons were identified as Meva, Ramzan and Peera, while security officials have recovered explosives and weapons from their possession. The persons have reportedly accepted their involvement in the gas pipelines attack and revealed plan for targeting another gas pipeline in Bhong village.
