Islamabad- Former Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry today took a swipe at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), saying their resignations have been approved under Article 64-A of the constitution.
Speaking to media persons In Islamabad, Chaudhry said that Imran Khan has proved his allegations false, by going back to assemblies.
Earlier, PTI leader Imran Khan and his party’s members returned to the Parliament, after ending a seven-month boycott over alleged fraud in the last elections.
Khan told media persons outside the Parliament that he stood by his position on the last elections. “If elections are probed through judicial commission for the first in the history of Pakistan, it will be beneficial for democracy,” he maintained.
