QUETTA - Three people were killed in Jaffarabad and Mastung districts in two separate acts of violence, on Sunday.
In the first incident, unidentified armed men opened indiscriminate fire on Barkhat and Rahim Bakhsh near Balan Sheikh area of Jaffarabad.
As a result, both sustained serious injuries and died on the way to hospital.
The assailants fled from the scene after committing the crime.
Police conducted autopsy of the deceased and later handed the bodies over to the heirs for burial. Motive behind the killing is stated to be a dispute.
In the second incident, one man was killed in a clash between two groups in Kadkucha area of Mastung district.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Fateh and reason behind the clash was stated to be old enmity.
Levies personnel shifted the body to district headquarter hospital.
