One killed, 32 injured in road mishaps

Our Staff Reporter BAHAWALNAGAR - One lost life while 32 other including 9 minor students and 5 women sustained injuries here in Bahawalnagar and Chishtian during the past 24 hours. According Rescue 1122 sources, a speeding bus knocked down a motorcyclist namely Ghulam Farid, a resident of Amin Kot near Takht Mahal Stop, killing him on the spot while Ejaz who was sitting pillion received injuries. In another incident, 9 minor students including girls sustained injuries when a motorcycle rickshaw overturned near Chak-34 Fateh. Meanwhile, Kalsoom Bibi injured near Mohlan Wala Galla when a motorbike hit a donkey-cart. In another incident two pillion-riders Sadiqan Bibi and Perveen Bibi sustained injuries when a motorbike slipped near Jhulan Mor. Yet in another incident, one Aslam, a resident of Haroonabad sustained injuries when tried to save a dog when he was going on his bike at Mohal Chowk. While Falak Sher and Allah Din, resdinet of Haroonabad also got injured in a road accident the other evening. Meanwhile, five people Siddiue, Hafiz Nadeem, Hafiz, Allah Ditta and Abdul Jabbar got injured near Chak-31 in a collision between two bikes. These injured are said to be the resident of Fortabbas. While Allah Rakha, Mohammad Din, Imran, Kamran, Imtiaz, resident of Akhtar Abad, Usama Arshad, resident of Azam Chowk, Mohammad Sharif, resident of Madressa, Asia Bibi, Amna Mumtaz and Ghulam Abbas also injured in road mishaps in Chishtian.
